【摘要】:1.1*Scope.Thisstandardregulatestheinstallationandmaintenanceofassembliesanddevicesusedtoprotectopeningsinwalls,floors,andceilingsagainstthespreadoffireandsmokewithin,into,oroutofbuildings.1.1.1*Withtheexceptionoffabricfiresafetycurtainassemblies,thisstandardaddressesassembliesthathavebeensubjectedtostandardizedfiretests.(SeeChapter20.)1.1.2*Incineratordoors,recordroomdoors,andvaultdoorsarenotcoveredinthisstandard.1.1.3*Requirementsforhorizontallysliding,verticallysliding,andswingingdoorsasusedinthisstandarddonotapplytohoistwaydoorsforelevatorsanddumbwaiters.1.1.4*ThisstandarddoesnotcoverfireresistantanceglazingmaterialsandhorizontallyslidingaccordionorfoldingassembliesfabricatedforuseaswallsandtestedaswallassembliesinaccordancewithNFPA251,StandardMethodsofTestsofFireResistanceofBuildingConstructionandMaterials.
