【摘要】:Thesignificanceofthistestmethodinanyoverallmeasurementsprogramtoassesstheerosionbehaviorofmaterialswilldependonmanyfactorsconcerningtheconditionsofserviceapplications.Theusersofthistestmethodshoulddeterminethedegreeofcorrelationoftheresultsobtainedwiththosefromfieldperformanceorresultsusingothertestsystemsandmethods.Thistestmethodmaybeusedtoranktheerosionresistanceofmaterialsunderthespecifiedconditionsoftesting.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofmateriallossbygas-entrainedsolidparticleimpingementerosionwithjetnozzletypeerosionequipment.Thistestmethodmaybeusedinthelaboratorytomeasurethesolidparticleerosionofdifferentmaterialsandhasbeenusedasascreeningtestforrankingsolidparticleerosionratesofmaterialsinsimulatedserviceenvironments(1,2).Actualerosionserviceinvolvesparticlesizes,velocities,attackangles,environments,andsoforth,thatwillvaryoverawiderange(3-5).Hence,anysinglelaboratorytestmaynotbesufficienttoevaluateexpectedserviceperformance.Thistestmethoddescribesonewellcharacterizedprocedureforsolidparticleimpingementerosionmeasurementforwhichinterlaboratorytestresultsareavailable.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
