【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesatestmethodformeasuringtheheat-transferofhorizontallymountedflame-resistanttextilematerialswhenexposedtoacombinationofconvectiveandradiantenergy.NOTEThistestmethodmaynotcorrelatetotheheat-insulativeperformanceofverticallyorientedflame-resistanttextilematerialswhenexposedtoconvectiveandradiantheatenergyorusedinactualclothingconfigurations.Thistestmethodcanbeusedforanytypeofsheetmaterialusedeitherasasinglelayerorinamultilayerconstructionwhenallstructuresorsub-assembliesaremadeofflame-resistantmaterials.Itisnotintendedtobeusedonmaterialsthatarenotflameresistant.Thistestmethodisnotintendedforevaluatingmaterialsexposedtoanyothertypeofthermal-energysources,suchasradiantheatonlyorflamecontactonly.UseISO6942whenevaluatingheat-transferthroughmaterialsduetoradiantheatonlyanduseISO9151whenevaluatingheat-transferthroughmaterialsduetoflamecontactonly.Thistestmethodmaynotidentifytextilematerialsthatcanigniteandcontinuetoburnafterexposuretoconvectiveandradiantenergy.ThisInternationalStandardshouldbeusedtomeasureanddescribethepropertiesofmaterials,productsorassembliesinresponsetobothconvectiveandradiantenergyundercontrolledlaboratoryconditionsandshouldnotbeusedtodescribeorappraisethefirehazardorfireriskofmaterials,productsorassembliesunderactualfireconditions.However,theresultsofthistestmethodmaybeusedaselementsofafire-riskassessmentwhichtakesintoaccountallofthefactorswhicharepertinenttoanassessmentofthefirehazardofaparticularend-use.
