【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedtodeterminethemoisturecontentoffats,oils,andfatliquorsusedinthesofteningandstuffingofleather.Themoisturecontentismeasuredforthepurposeofqualityassurance.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofwaterexistinginasampleofsulfonatedorsulfatedoil,orboth,bydistillingthesamplewithavolatilesolvent.Thetestmethodisapplicableonlytosulfonatedandsulfatedoilsthatdonotcontainthefollowing:mineralacids,freesulfonicacids,orfreesulfuricacidesters;oralkalihydroxides,carbonatesoracetates:oralcohol,glycerin,diethyleneglycol,acetone,orotherwater-misciblevolatilecompounds.ThistestmethodwasderivedfromTestMethodsD500,Sections4through9.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
